The Governor of Nebraska appointed me to the Environmental
Quality Council because of my education and experience in
teaching environmental geology at UNO. I have the ability and
willingness to work with the people, private business and
government on a myriad of issues such as storm water
management and water quality.

| Proven Leadership On The Environment |
Whether it be new hiking and biking trails or expansion of
green park space, I strongly feel the general public always needs
more areas for outdoor activities. A healthy ecosystem is vital for
everyone to enjoy our natural resources.

I will encourage the Papio-Missouri NRD to work with all levels
of government and other private entities to insure we implement
flood control measures other than large dams. However, if dam
sites are created, then I will diligently advocate to make all
shoreline accessible to every Nebraska citizen.

I will make thoughtful, sound, educated decisions as a steward
